Introduction

On behalf of our client, a world leader within the Oil & Gas industry, Brunel is presently recruiting a Senior Process Engineer based in Darwin, Northern Territory; 12 month contract.

About this role

  • Acting as technical authority across Process Control Systems and Engineering deliverables
  • Supporting and enhancing ARC/APC systems, alarm management and operator training systems
  • Coordinating and producing high-quality process control documentation
  • Providing technical support to Operations & Maintenance for safe, efficient plant performance
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian and international standards (including Safety Case requirements)
  • Managing risks associated with high-availability operations across offshore and onshore facilities
  • Supporting recruitment, workforce development and capability planning
  • Monitoring project cost control, budgets and KPIs
  • Suport and technical staff and mentor Junior Engineers
  • Contributing to Emergency Response tasks and HSE commitments

Is this you?

  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Process (Control) OR Computer Systems
  • Extensive demonstrated technical delivery in complex industrial operations
  • Strong experience leading teams and guiding multidisciplinary technical work
  • Broad understanding of EPC and/or Downstream business processes and principles
  • Proven ability to work within structured change-management frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial DCS platforms (Yokogawa, Honeywell, etc)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to evaluate, coordinate and deliver technical outcomes
  • Broad understanding of EPC and downstream processes
