About this role: Senior Contracts Administrator

Brunel have partnered with a Tier 2 builder with a strong presence in the Gold Coast region.

They specialise in high-rise residential, industrial and commercial projects with values ranging from $5m - $100m+

  • $170k - $200k + super p/a dependent on experience

  • Negotiate and administer subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budgets.
  • Review, analyze, and advise on contract terms and conditions, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Monitor and track project expenditures and commitments to ensure cost control and accurate forecasting.
  • Prepare and maintain all project-related documentation, including variations, claims, and project schedules.
  • Manage the change order process and communicate changes to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
  • Resolve disputes and issues with subcontractors and suppliers in a fair and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide mentoring for junior administration staff.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field (Highly Desirable).
  • 5+ years of experience on commercial constructions projects $10m+.
  • Clear understanding of and experience working with Australian Building Standards
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
