About this role: Recruitment Officer

  • To assist HR Manager for an effective and efficient recruitment management;
  • Receiving staff requirements from the Department Manager;
  • Checking the requested vacancy requirements with manpower forecast which was communicated by the department manager to the HRD;
  • Proceed with recruitment if the vacancy is already budgeted or revert back to the department manager for justification with guidance from HR Manager;
  • Sourcing candidates through various sources such as CVs database, job portals, employee referrals, recruitment agencies etc.;
  • Conducting preliminary interview;
  • Arrange for interview with the line manager for technical interview;
  • Arrange for security clearance and visa formalities for shortlisted candidates;
  • Adhere to the recruitment policy;
  • Able to supervise personnel with different cultural backgrounds;
  • Develop knowledge, skills and behaviors. Provide honest and constructive feedback in an appropriate way;
  • Take ownership of own objectives agreed upon and the objectives for subordinates;
  • Ensure visibility of achieved results and performance for the entire team of subordinates;
  • Investigates,
    understands and responds to the needs of customers — internal and external;
  • Seek and share information and ideas in order to improve performance. Help colleagues to achieve their goals;
  • Show respect, flexibility and loyalty to colleagues throughout the organization;
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly both orally and in writing;
  • Interviewing skills and ability to coach others to improve interviewing skills;
  • Able to adequately solve problems or disputes.


  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent;
  • 5 Years of experience;
  • Process orientation;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Interviewing skills Industry related experience;
  • Projects organizations in dredging, marine construction and engineering, or equivalent;
  • Required: English, fluent. Preferred: Arabic, basic;
  • Any other language is an asset;
  • Written communication skills: Required: English, fluent. Preferred: Arabic;
  • IT skills;
  • Functional knowledge of HRIS and HR ERP;
  • Process Modeling and Management;
  • eRecruitment solutions;
  • Office applications;
  • Spreadsheet / Database skills;
  • Local Labour Law & Regulations;
  • Local and International Recruitment channels;
  • Passing Physical fitness from Abu Dhabi Health Service Co. SEHA, is mandatory. Physical examinations and investigations test (ADMA), will be required before working at offshore Oil and Gas Projects.
