Project Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant based in Tahmoor, South of Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Construction Manager with the implementation and completion of the project, while also ensuring that all design queries are resolved and procurement is effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure timely and efficient completion of the project
• Resolve any design queries or issues that may arise during the construction process
• Manage and assist with procurement, ensuring that all materials and equipment are ordered and delivered on time
• Monitor project progress and identify areas for improvement or adjustment as required
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met and all parties are satisfied with the outcome

Key Requirements:

• A degree in engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to interpret design drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
