Introduction

On behalf of our client, a leading Energy Resources Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Finance Analyst for a 6 month parental cover contract located in the Perth CBD.

About this role

  • Assist with budgeting and reforecasting process for Australian Operations
  • Calculate and post asset-specific month-end journals
  • Act as the primary contact for Operated Asset queries from internal stakeholders
  • Provide accurate cost coding and support effective cost allocation
  • Drive cost optimisation with Operations and Offshore Teams
  • Prepare monthly management reports (MMR) with detailed commentary
  • Assist with G&A monthly analysis and WP&B
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations per the risk matrix
  • Produce annual reporting packs, financial statements and half-year schedules
  • Update internal management reporting packs and forecasting materials

Is this you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field
  • CPA/CA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Oil & Gas industry sector experience is preferred
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise and influence without authority
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP experience
  • Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and a positive, 'can-do' attitude
