Introduction

We are seeking experienced Contracts Leads to manage a portfolio of 10-20 operational service and supply agreements supporting upstream activities. This role oversees contract performance, commercial negotiation, service continuity and compliance, with a typical portfolio managing approximately $50-$100M in annual spend.

Working with minimal supervision, you will partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive commercial value, maintain contractual integrity, improve supplier performance, and enable efficient Procure-to-Pay (PtP) execution.

About this role

  • Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, terms & conditions and service levels
  • Manage contract lifecycle activities including amendments, scope updates and pricing adjustments
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues and support structured review cycles
  • Ensure full PtP (Procure-to-Pay) compliance with procurement governance and controls
  • Identify opportunities to improve total system cost, supplier efficiency and service quality
  • Maintain agreement documentation and ensure contractual clarity across stakeholders
  • Build strong internal relationships across Operations, Finance, HSE, Legal and Procurement
  • Provide insights into supplier markets and contribute to category planning and strategy

Is this you?

  • Proven experience in contract management, procurement, category management or commercial advisory
  • Strong negotiation, commercial analysis and supplier performance management capability
  • Skilled stakeholder collaborator with the ability to influence and guide decision-making
  • Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of procurement governance and controls
  • Able to work proactively and independently within a structured commercial environment
