Introduction

Brunel is partnering with a global oilfield services company to hire Electronic Technicians for maintenance and field operations in Jandakot, Roma, and Moomba. These 6 month temporary to permanent roles support reliable service tools for major oil & gas projects and offer great long-term career growth.

About this role

  • Diagnose, repair and calibrate electronic and instrumentation systems used in field service operations
  • Perform maintenance on pressure, flow and mass-measurement devices, telemetry and control systems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot proprietary hardware/software and data acquisition tools
  • Conduct component-level PCB repairs, cabling and light fabrication as required
  • Support equipment mobilisation, testing and commissioning for field deployment
  • Ensure all maintenance and repair data is accurately recorded in SAP
  • Uphold strict HSE and quality standards at all times

Is this you?

  • Qualification in Electronics / Electrotechnology (Certificate III or above)
  • Experience in an electronic maintenance or energy industry environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills using schematics, software and test equipment
  • Knowledge of networking and serial communications
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Restricted Electrical Licence or higher - highly desirable

Employment Conditions

  • FIFO Even-Time Roster: Typically 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off (may adjust to 2/2 over summer)
  • Travel from any major Australian city with deployments to key sites nationwide
